K1300R
The K1300R Mechanical Tensioner. A must have for your BMW K1300 engine. This chain tensioner when installed and adjusted properly, will prevent chain rattle at start up that occurs when a hydraulic tensioner bleeds down every time you shut off the engine, as well as eliminating cam rattle caused by worn out chain tensioners. In addition, if a situation occurs that you have to bump start your bike, the potential for chain jump and serious motor expense is eliminated by having a constant tension at all times. Having a constant set tension improves the life of your chain by not being subjected to what is termed, “loose chain rattle” that develops from hydraulic chain tensioners and leads to expensive repairs.
This product is made in the USA with quality metals and the precision machining necessary for the complex motors that they are installed in.

Suspension Service
Southern California MotoWerks is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to your suspension needs or concerns. We have been servicing and improving suspension components for 8 years now. We can rebuild the BWM ESA units as well as all other shocks. I find it better to improve on the factory shocks fitted to your motorcycle, especially when it is a heavy off-road motorcycle, as they are generally a heavy duty shock body that is less likely to crack from heavy impact conditions. When rebuilding the ESA Shocks, the functions of the ESA components are not removed, so even if it is modified for your riding style, the functions of your ESA shock will still work the same (sport, comfort, etc). In some cases if you have a shock that is setting faults for an internal component failure (rebound, preload), in most cases, we have been successful in making the correct repair to make the shock function properly. We have seen blown shocks that have had scored shock shafts in which case we can remove the shock shaft and re-chrome the component to factory spec. This is a cost effective way to keep the ESA Feature you paid a great deal of money for and is a good shock, but optimize the features to fit your riding style. For custom modifications to your shocks please email us, as we would love to understand the best way to make your shocks work properly for you in the most cost efficient way.
